The default value is 2000.
However, you can change it; it’s on the View tab of the Options dialog box.
If a selected folder contains more files than the number entered, the display will switch to List view. If you don’t wish to be notified when the display is switched to List view, select “No tips will be shown when the display is switched to List view”
