Public welfare activities

Since its establishment in 1987, NewSoft has been committed to software development, with the purpose of improving the work efficiency of its partners, always exploring new technologies and business models at the first time, and exploring related possibilities.
While pursuing profitability and business performance, we carefully observe environmental changes and issues of concern to customers in the spirit of sustainable management. On the social front, NewSoft has carried out a series of cooperation with the Forbidden City to promote the museum's cultural relics and combine STEAM education (science, technology, development, art, mathematics) to improve the educational experience of children in rural areas or indigenous people.

Educational outreach

Since 2017, NewSoft has set up a digital education team to visit primary and secondary schools in rural towns and remote islands in various counties and cities to promote and inspire Taiwan students' thirst and interest in knowledge. In 112, Lixin donated Dianguang Elementary School in Guanshan Town, Taitung County, Eluan Branch of Kenting Primary School in Pingtung County, Andong Elementary School in Chiayi County, Zhongxing Elementary School in Penghu County, and Oyster National Primary School in Xinwu District, Taoyuan City, a total of 111 sets of very good software for 5 schools. Through the use of software, children can make posters related to activities related to the elements of indigenous tribes, name stickers for daily life, and day/month calendars for planning learning, etc., hoping to let children integrate local culture and drawing creation skills through interesting learning tools, and also hope to open a window of knowledge for remote students through digital technology promotion, giving every school child more opportunities to realize their dreams.

Cultural and creative investment

NewSoft supports the development of Taiwan's cultural and creative industries by investing NT$5 million in 2023 to fund the second season of The Adventures of an Elderly Girl. This initiative demonstrates the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility while promoting Taiwan’s cultural creativity on the global stage. The Adventures of an Elderly Girl is a reality show produced by the Kuei-Tian Cultural Foundation, exploring women's self-growth and showcasing Taiwan’s breathtaking landscapes and heartfelt connections. Beyond uncovering stories and topics, the program fosters deeper cultural empathy. The series has been nominated for the 58th Golden Bell Awards in Taiwan for both the Best Educational and Reality Program and Best Host in an Educational and Reality Program categories.
